The Season's Trends
Rolled-up sleeves are a thing of the past, nowadays people go for ¾-sleeve shirts. Between seasons, when it is too warm for a jumper but too cold for tops, ¾-sleeve shirts are the perfect solution. Particularly under business blazers or with trouser suits, these shirts look elegant and presentable without making you sweat.
What to wear with ¾-sleeve shirts
These shirts make an ideal partner for combinations with jackets, blousons and Sixties-style coats. This look is enjoying a fierce comeback at the moment, and the iconic A-line shape typically ends in ¾ sleeves. A normal long-sleeved shirt would quickly destroy the effect of the styling. But during your time off, wearing these sleeve lengths with comfortable boyfriend jeans looks casual and cool.
An extra tip
Three-quarter sleeve shirts have another unique trick up their sleeve, which can particularly be used to showcase smaller women: The slightly shortened sleeve lengths make your legs appear much longer, and your torso is visually pushed upward. An inch or so – as far as the eye can tell, at least – is quickly added on – without high heels! Incidentally, blouses with 3/4 sleeves have the same effect.
